Its main function is to protect the connected batteries. It collects the data and monitors all the main parameters of the battery. In this way, the battery management system preserves the health of your system. The BMS will always ensure that the parameters remain within a safe operating window. If the parameters are exceeded, the internal safety contactor opens automatically. This will turn off all chargers and loads. As a result, the Master LV guarantees safe and reliable operation.
This maximizes capacity and increases battery life. Every MG battery has a built-in slave BMS. It monitors all the individual cells in the battery module. The Master LV collects all this data and intervenes when necessary. Thus protecting all batteries.
